Today was a great day i finished off my work such as my introduction and conclusion and managed to proof read a lot. We came in got our folders and got started i was excited about today since it was a Thursday and i was almost done my work. I started off my conclusion and managed to finish all of it before the bell. I also got several minutes to proof reed my work so that there weren't any errors. Today was going to be my last blog post so i decided to make it more interesting and finish it with a different ending. I think that this has been a good project and i hope to do one like this again i think that it was a good idea to use a mixture of books and laptops so we would get information from two places. Finally after 45 minutes of work the bell rang and it was time to go this is my last blog post so good bye.

Today was a normal day we came in got started on our work my goal was to finish my conclusion and introduction. I got my folder and sat down on my desk, i got my laptop started and opened to my file. My introduction was partly done when i realized that i had to much information and i knew that i might extend the word limit. It was hard to control it but i managed to do it by shortening my word length. After 45 minutes the first period had ended and know it was time for the second period i managed to finish most of my conclusion but there was still a few parts left. So finally after the next period ended we put back our folders and left.

Today was a normal day since we came in and got started on our work my goal was to finish my introduction by know but unfortunately i only got half way through. We got our folders and sat down on our table next we opened our laptop to the file and started typing. I took out my notes for my introduction and started writing. I managed to write 7 of my notes and they only fitted half of my word length so i started to do a bit of research and got more detail on Ancient Rome. It made it so much easier using the internet while typing. Finally after 45 minutes of hard work the bell finally rang and it was time to go.

Today was a normal day we came in got started on our essay but since i had already finished my third characteristic i went on and did some proof reading. I found out that there was a few word repetitions so i had to change them. Mrs. Korbatits said that by Tuesday we had to have our third characteristic done. Later on after i finished my proofreading i decided to go to that website Mrs. Korbatits told us about and check if i had any plagiarism issues. It turns out that it was all clear. After 45 minutes of hard work the bell finally rang it was time to go.

Finally Thursday was here it was time to finish of my third characteristic which was really easy though took up a lot of time. After i finished writing about my third one i started to proof read since Mrs. Korbatits had put up a proof reading sheet that showed you how to proof read your work. It was really long, i got most of my work read though and proof read. Finally after 45 minutes of work the bell rang so i packed up my work and left.

Today was a double period so i new that i would get most of my work done, i got my folder and got started. My goal was to finish my second characteristic so i started to type, i got some more information from the internet. I got some more information and hopefully it was enough to finish off my second characteristic. I managed to finish it in the 1st half of the double period in the second half i started on my second characteristic which was education it was very easy since there was a lot of information on it on the web i managed to get half of it done by talking about the rules of education and about how boys and girls went to school. Finally after another 45minutes the bell rang so i quickly saved my work and packed up and left.

Today was a normal day i came in got started on my work my goal was to finish my first characteristic. I wrote about the different types of gods such as Zeus the God of Jupiter. I managed to finish my first characteristic so i got started on my second one it was about social classes i had a limited amount of information on my cards so i got less work done. I started to research again and managed to pick up heaps of information so i started my second characteristic. After 45 minutes of typing i finally managed to finish half of my second characteristic. Finally the bell rang so i packed up and left.

Today was a normal day we came in and got started on our essay, we had to have the first characteristic almost done. So i got my folder and started typing started off with my religion characteristic it was really easy since i had most of my information written in it but when i looked at how many words we had to write my information wasn't enough. So i went to Google and started searching for more information. luckily i found a good website with tons of information in it this was enough to finish my essay. After 45 min of researching and typing i finally got my first characteristic almost done. Now finally the bell rang.

Today was a sad day since it was our last day of research in the classroom i got most of my research completed but not all. In the beginning of the period i took out my laptop and started working next i opened the online resources that had most of my information on it. I copied out as much as i could. I found two new websites that had a lot more information on them but i didn't get enough time to get all the details down therefore i didn't finish. I think that using the laptops was a good idea since we have access to a lot more things and two people can go on the same website at the same time. Finally at the end of the period i packed up my stuff and got ready to go, As soon as the bell rang we left.

April 21, 2010

Today was a normal day we were in the classroom but it was a double period so i got a lot of work finished including a lot of my questions. I just have a few more left which i will be able to finish of tomorrow in the first period i answered 3 questions and in the second 4. After that i wrote up my blogger report and then in a few more minutes the bell rang so i got my stuff and left. I think that it is better to use laptops since they have a wide range of information where as books have a limited amount.

Today was a different sort of day since we were not in the library anymore instead we were back in the classroom. Mrs Korbatits gave us the rubric and told us when the essay was due. So we took out our laptops and started researching there was only 45 minutes in this lesson so there wasn't much time to get a lot of research done. We had till Thursday to finish our research and start writing up our essay. I got all my answers to 3 quarters of my questions and as soon as i was about to finish the bell rang so i packed up and gave my folder to Mrs. Korbatits.

Today was a unusual day there was a huge book sale going on in the library there were many good books their. Mrs. Korbatits told us to sit on the other side of the book sale so that we don't pay to much attention to it and focus on our work. Today was our last day at the library we got our folders opened our laptops and started working. I think that we should have been in the class the whole time because usually nobody uses the books in the library. I opened brain pop and got ready to get my information. I had my cards out and started recording the important parts, like when was Rome discovered or who was the first ruler. After 45 minutes of work the bell rang we put our folders back and left.

We walked into the library and got our folders, today was a substitute teacher since Mrs. Korbatits was absent. I went on a new website today called brain pop. It had a lot of videos about different subjects such as ancient Rome. There were two people in it named Tim and Mobie who explained to us about the different subject that we had chose. Surprisingly it turned out to have a lot more information then the books. Surprising nobody was noisy or rowdy today and everyone was working well. The substitute teacher was really happy, finally the bell rang we put our folders back and left.

Today was a usual day we got in took our laptops and got started on our project i went to the same website as yesterday and got my info. Today we had to sat next to Mrs. Korbatits, so that she could check our work at times. My information was not complete so i got the rest of my information. It was fairly strait forward, i managed to get the rest of my questions done. We also got told that tomorrow we would be in the classroom since the library would be filled with other people and there wouldn't be enough room for us. Finally the bell rang we packed up put our folders back and left.

Today was a good day we came in sat down and Mrs. Korbatits explained the task to us first of all we had to get out our laptops and check if our bloggers were up to date next we took our stuff and moved to where ever we wanted to sit in the library i chose the spot on the sofa. We sat down took out our laptops out and went to the internet i went to Google i found a lot of websites with good information but there was one that was really good and original so no one could have edited it. I got some of my information and got ready to work. I knew that the essay had to be really long so i took as much notes as i could find. After a period of time the bell rang i packed up and left.

Today was a great day we came in took our folders and spread out. I sat at my favorite spot at the back. I spread out my work and started working, today something amazing happened i found a website that had a lot of the answers to my questions on it. I was so happy because half my work was done. Before the bell rang Mrs. Korbatits said to us that we will be using the internet tomorrow which will make it even easier. Finally the bell rang and it was time to go today was my favorite day.

Today was a bright day i got a lot of information done since now we are allowed to use the laptops i was researching about the different types of social classes and i got a whole lot of examples. We started of the usual way take our folders get our pencils and take out our cards. I had plenty of information down but it was still not enough. I think using the laptops is a good idea because it gives us a larger range of choices where as books are limited in knowledge. I found a few good websites that i added to favorites they were my main ones such as brain pop. After 45 minutes worth of work the bell rang we packed up our laptops and left.

Today was the greatest day at the library since we finally got to use the laptops this massively affected my work since now there was a ton of resources in front of me that i could use to get my information. I started off by answering some of the important questions such as the birth of the roman empire. A video that really helped me was on brain pop it told me everything i needed to know about the birth of the roman empire. It also contained extra information such as about Julius Caesar and how he used to rule Rome until he was stabbed to death. Finally the bell rang it was time to go we packed up our laptops and left.

Today was a Thursday the last day before the weekend we got in and as usual took our folders our books and started working i chose the same one has yesterday since as i said was my main source. I answered only 2 questions today because i was trying to work on my introduction. I put the book on to my bibliography so i would remember the name and the author. It was very strait forward today. Before the bell rang we returned our books and went out, it wasn't our day to clean the book shelf.

Today was the second day at the library and it was also my birthday so i was really excited to go home we started of by getting our books but then Mrs. Korbatits told us to sit down while the librarien explained to us how to use easy bib to record our bibliography once that was done we got started. I chose a new book today it was called Ancient Rome. This book had most of the information i needed on it so i made it like my official source. I managed to get through many questions before the bell rang. Something new happened today our class had to clean up the book shelf turns out we have to take turns cleaning it.

Today was our first day at the library, we had finished sorting out our folders and questions and were ready to begin the research. Mrs. Korbatits told us the rules no sitting next to a friend, no laptops, only books and no talking. These were tough for me because i'm the kind of person who can get distracted easily. She told us to go take a book and one book only so i took one the said the life and times of romans. It was very interesting but didn't have much information about ancient Rome it was mostly modern. After a long period of research the bell rang we returned our folders and the books.

Today was a relaxing day at the library it was the last day for using our books. Tomorrow we are going to be using our laptops to get the information which will be a lot easier but more complicated. At least we won't have to search through our books to find the information we need. I got my book and started working i answered 1 question today the big one. It was based on social classes it was about who was the most richest and then following them and so on. When i had completed that i put away the book and got ready to go, Finally the bell had rang.

Today was a bad day since Mrs. Korbatits was absent and the substitute wasn't teaching us much. We got our books and started working my questions were strait forward and i started this week we only had a few days of school, so i started to do my work quickly so i don't have much after the break. There was five minutes till the bell was about to wring so i got started on writing my bibliography. Finally the bell rang and we left.

We entered the class knowing that it was humanities so we didn't want to do anything stupid on a Thursday. I got a new book today it was called Ancient Rome but by a different author this time. It had lots of information about Rome in the past time like the structure of the empire, how Rome was found, Gods and Goddesses and last of all emperors. I started to write about social classes since i saw a lot of information on it. It showed me who was the most respected, the Nobelist and the low classed people i returned the book knowing that the bell was going to wring in 5min so since it was our turn to clean up the books i cleaned up my section about Rome. The bell rang and we finally went to advisory the day is almost over.

We entered the library as usual and Mrs. Korbatits told us to sit down for a second while she explained to us that we had to put our blogger link on our wiki space so she can check them during the break. Suddenly i just remembered that i haven't started yet so i decided to start from March 21, i hope that Mrs. Korbatits would understand. So then i went to find my book that i normally use but then suddenly when i checked the bookshelf the book that i wanted wasn't there so i decided to try i new one for a change. I took a book out named: The Roman Empire. It was really interesting and told me everything i needed to know about the discovery of Rome. I took some brief points and put them in my introduction cards. Finally the bell rang, though today it was Mr. Bonallies class who had to clean up the books so i just took my bags and left.

Today was a nice day at the library we entered in and there was not many people their except for of course Mr. Bonallie's class. I got a the same book as yesterday because i didn't finish writing my information from it. I quickly turned to the page that i needed and started writing. I got through half my writing when suddenly i had to go to the bathroom. Fortunately Mrs. Korbatits let me go so i rushed there and when i was finished i resumed my work. Suddenly the bell rang it was our turn to setup the books so i had to stay a little after.

March 21 2010

It was a nice and relaxing research day today at the library Mrs. Korbatits gave us our task and we got strait to work. I found a book named Ancient Rome by Simon James it was really interesting and had many cool facts inside that really helped me with my research. I think it is a good idea to use books because they have good information and relatively easy to understand. The questions that i answered were in religion that did they have special gods? And the second one i answered was how did they prey? It was really interesting but as soon as i was about to finish the bell rang. We returned our folder and tidied up the books, Time to go.
